Tourney Type Definitions

True Freerolls: Anyone can play in them.
Restricted Freerolls: Usually some kind of requirement; so many hands that day or # of pts. Also tourneys where you use points to buy-in are considered restricted ones.
Prize or Entry Tourney: A trip or a cruise could be the prize, or a entry to a big tournament.

1st Pays Definition

1st pays amount we list, for freerolls it usually is a set amount if the tourney has the max people in it. If it is another tourney type besides a freeroll, the amount listed is the max amount if tourney fills. + means it could be more. % means payout is based on # of entrys, this will usually range from 20 to 45% of prize pool. Always see the respective website for payouts and prize pool. See Est. 1st Place if column says %, we try and search past tourneys and get rough idea of the payout.

Prize Pool Definition

Prize Pool amount listed for freerolls is simply what they are giving out. If it is another tourney type then we base the prize pool on maximum # of entrys x buy in amount. However bigger money tourneys will not fill and will not even be close to the amount listed. When you put your mouse over the tourney # you will something called Estimated Prize Pool, this is a rough estimate by us based on the same tourney, from past days at the same time. This is not a guarentee. Always see the respective website for payouts and prize pool.

Buy In Definition

Buy In amount does not include the poker site fee (or rake), it is usually based on a % of the actual buy in, and can range from about 5 to 20% extra on top of the buy in amount. Always see the respective website for the buy in fee and there rake for putting the tourney on.

Next 10 Qualifier or Prize & Entry Freeroll Tourneys... Qualifier's have no cash payout usually, some sites have many tourneys during the week & the top finishers get entry in a main one. Prize & Entry tourneys give entry into a bigger buy-in tourney, or one that has a trip or entry into land based tourney.
